San Diego moves to require warning signs on cryptocurrency ATMs to prevent scams<\/a><\/p>\n

San Diego could become the first California city to require warning signs on or near cryptocurrency ATMs to prevent scams.<\/p>\n

The proposal, from San Diego City Council President Joe LaCava, is intended to combat scams that allegedly focus on the machines and primarily target senior citizens.<\/p>\n

In the schemes, the scammers persuade victims to deposit cash into cryptocurrency ATMs located in grocery stores, convenience stores and smoke shops. Once the money is transferred, authorities say it is difficult or impossible to recover.<\/p>\n

The statement is sophomoric, and for Gavin Newsom to claim this is half-witted. Newsom says capitalism isn\u2019t working\u2019 because his wealth was subsidized. He has never had to be a strict adherent to capitalism the way actual entrepreneurs and innovators are.<\/p>\n

Ask any entrepreneur of a small, medium or large business what they think of capitalism. Ask immigrants new to the country, who were able to open a business, what they think of capitalism \u2013 especially if they came from a communist country, or one rooted in horrific corruption.<\/p>\n

Over the more than four decades that it\u2019s been in existence, the Adams Avenue Street Fair has grown into of the biggest free music events in all of Southern California, and this year\u2019s event is a perfect example of why.<\/p>\n

But it\u2019s not just all about music. The event also features carnival rides, beer gardens, circus performances and 300 exhibitors offering food and drink for purchase, as well as other items, like jewelry and clothing.<\/p>\n
