Feds claim it denies citizens their right to carry firearms for self-defense.<\/p>\n<p>NBC Bay Area reached out to San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan for comment but did not immediately hear back.<\/p>\n<p>The San Jose Police Department was also named in the lawsuit.
