A national retailer that sells scrubs, lab coats and other clothing for medical professionals is closing stores across the country.<\/p>\n
Scrubs & Beyond<\/a> announced it is closing all of its retail locations nationwide, including one in Fresno.<\/p>\n The company did not offer an explanation for the closures, and its customer service line was disconnected as of Thursday, Sept. 17.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s what we know:<\/p>\n What is Scrubs & Beyond?<\/p>\n Scrubs & Beyond, which has been in business for more than 20 years, advertises itself as the \u201clargest retailer of healthcare apparel and accessories<\/a> in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n The company said it acquired Uniform City and Life Uniform in 2013.<\/p>\n In addition to online sales, Scrubs & Beyond has more than 100 physical locations<\/a> in 30 states, Fast Company<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n That includes nine stores in California.<\/p>\n Where is medical clothing store closing in Fresno?<\/p>\n Scrubs & Beyond has one store in Fresno<\/a>, at 343 East Shaw Ave. in the Mission Village shopping center.<\/p>\n Fresno store representatives were not available for comment as of Thursday.<\/p>\n
