Jason Adam is still sitting 93 mph with his four-seamer, which is par for the course for this season and down about a mile per hour from last year\u2019s All-Star campaign.<\/p>\n

The results on his rehab assignment, however, have not been kind as of late.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old reliever allowed four runs on three hits and a walk while recording one out in Triple-A El Paso\u2019s 14-7 loss on Friday<\/a> in the completion of a suspended game.<\/p>\n

Adam pitched the seventh inning on Friday after the game was resumed and gave up a leadoff homer and a triple. He also walked a batter and struck out one before he was lifted after throwing 10 of his 18 pitches for strikes.<\/p>\n

The rough outing followed an even rougher outing on Wednesday, when he allowed five runs on four hits and a walk without recording an out.<\/p>\n

Adam had begun his rehab assignment on Sunday with a strikeout over a perfect inning.<\/p>\n

Adam has been on the injured list since July 2 with a shoulder strain. He threw 139 innings between 2024-2025 (1.94 ERA) and had a 2.51 ERA in 32\u2153 innings this year after beginning the year on the injured list as he came back from last year\u2019s season-ending quad surgery.<\/p>\n

Miguel Andujar (wrist) is also rehabbing with El Paso and was 0-for-2 with an RBI on Thursday. He did not play in the resumption of the game on Friday and was not in the lineup for the second game of the doubleheader.<\/p>\n
