Initially, Orlovsky tried to defend Hurts by rattling off his history in Philadelphia and the improvements he\u2019s made over the years. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t doubt Hurts; I\u2019ve so far removed myself from doubting Hurts in no matter what situation,\u201d Orlovsky said. \u201cI think why you\u2019re a fan of Herbert is because that\u2019s what it should look like. Your brain tells you that\u2019s what it should look like.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Orlovsky\u2019s \u201cthat\u2019s what it should look like\u201d comment has fans fuming on social media. Mandatory Credit: Kirby Lee-Imagn Images                                                                                     <\/p>\n<p>\u201cDan Orlovsky says he favors Justin Herbert over Jalen Hurts cause \u2018that\u2019s what [playing QB] should look like.\u2019 Dude could barely get the words out,\u201d one fan said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSay you prefer WHITE QBs without saying you prefer WHITE QBs,\u201d a second fan commented.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverything Orlovsky says here should disqualify him from providing NFL analysis for the \u201cWorldwide Leader in Sports.\u201d It won\u2019t, but it should,\u201d a third fan replied.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to do everything in our power to make sure he\u2019s never aired on tv again,\u201d another fan declared.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is literally racist,\u201d a social media user wrote.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/awfulannouncing\/status\/2100965447268999668\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Orlovsky fires back at his critics.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday night, Orlovsky tried to defuse the situation by <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/danorlovsky7\/status\/2101102878643601919?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow\">posting this message online: <\/a>\u201cI quite literally never said that. Stop making stuff up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Judging by the replies to Orlovsky\u2019s post, NFL fans aren\u2019t ready to let him off the hook just yet. <\/p>\n<p>Barring a sudden turn of events, Orlovsky is expected to be on ESPN\u2019s top shows Monday to recap Week 2 of the NFL season.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright The Arena Group, Inc.
