While nearly $1.75 million for a house might sound inflated, the listing also includes a pleasure boat and use of a separate 40-foot berth to store it in.<\/p>\n Part of the high price boils down to the brutal reality of San Francisco<\/a> <\/a>zoning \u2014\u00a0Mission Creek Harbor isn\u2019t adding any more inventory, and only 20 of these floating-home berths exist. <\/p>\n Established around 1959, berths in the mini-community have historically changed hands privately among family members \u2014 rather than hitting the traditional real estate market.<\/p>\n The property, located near the OpenAI headquarters, is being offered for sale amid an AI boom in the area.
