Harbor Drive for a report of a vehicle sinking in the water, according to OFD officials.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The first-arriving unit found a vehicle completely submerged approximately six feet from shore. The vehicle appeared to be unoccupied,&#8221; OFD Battalion Chief Anthony Walker said. &#8220;Personnel from the Oceanside Marine Safety Unit entered the water and searched the vehicle and surrounding area, confirming that no victims were inside.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/oside-car-2.png\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>Image showing Oceanside fire crews removing vehicle from water. Courtesy ONSCENE.TV<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses reported seeing three people exit the water and leave the area in a pickup truck before emergency personnel arrived, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle was pulled from the water by a tow truck and no injuries were reported.<\/p>\n<p>Oceanside Police were investigating the circumstances surrounding the vehicle entering the water.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Three people escaped from a vehicle that was submerged in Oceanside Harbor Saturday morning, authorities said.
