\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
With deep sadness the family of Teri Moore shares that she passed away at home in El Cajon, CA, on August 21, 2026 after succumbing to multiple health issues. Teri had lost her partner in life and husband, Will Moore, in 2023.<\/p>\n
Teri\u2019s parents, Earl Newell and Sue Ann (Dean) Newell were living in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, Earl\u2019s current Air Force assignment, when she was born on September 27, 1957. She was their first of three children; next came Steve and then baby sister Karen. The family had moved to Bristow, Oklahoma where Teri attended and graduated from Bristow High School, class of 1975.<\/p>\n
In 1976, Teri met Will Moore, from San Diego, California, who at that time was living in Bristow. They married on December 23, 1977. Teri had a young son, Jason, and they became a family of three. Soon after, they relocated to Will\u2019s hometown of San Diego. It wasn\u2019t too long before they welcomed their second son, Willie, which completed their family. Eventually, they purchased a home in El Cajon, CA where they lived for the remainder of their lives.<\/p>\n
Once acclimated to living in a much larger city, Teri loved all that San Diego had to offer \u2013 the beaches, the mountains and the desert. She worked at various places over the years \u2013 Auto Parts Club, Sears, for a number of years was the store manager at a local Staples, and made meaningful and lasting friendships along the way. More recently she had worked as a retail distributor of the San Diego Union-Tribune, and currently was a billing specialist at Vista Energy Transport.<\/p>\n
Teri is survived by her sons, Jason and Will; her four grandchildren whom she loved dearly and was so very proud of: Majel, Brooklynn, Cassidy and William Jr.; her brother, Steve, and his family, and her sister, Karen, and her family. Teri will also be terribly missed by her extended family here in San Diego. She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Sue Ann, and her husband, Will.<\/p>\n
There will be a dual Celebration of Life for Teri and Will on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 1pm in Carmel Valley, San Diego.
