The San Francisco 49ers haven\u2019t been on the right side of any injury luck under Kyle Shanahan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Ricky Pearsall, Christian Kirk, and De\u2019Zhaun Stribling were arguably going to be three of the top four receivers heading into the regular season. Pearsall is out for the year. Kirk is on injured reserve, and Stribling just joined him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Unfortuantely, the 49ers lost another receiver on Sunday, as Demarcus Robinson was carted to the locker room during the second quarter with an ankle injury. It came on a play where Robinson was wide open and should have walked into the end zone. But the throw was behind him, and it looked like Robinson\u2019s ankle kind of got stuck in the field.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Robinson is officially questionable to return, but whenever there\u2019s a cart, it\u2019s unlikely that we\u2019ll see Robinson for the remainder of the game. Perhaps it\u2019s a good sign that the team didn\u2019t rule Robinson out immediately.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"When it rains, it pours.
