COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Keshav “KC” Mungali<\/a> carded a 1-under 71 on Sunday to lead the San Jos\u00e9 State men’s golf team in the team event, while teammate Joey Allan<\/a> maintained his spot atop the individual leaderboard with a 4-under 68 in the second round of the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational at the Eisenhower Golf Course.<\/p>\n

Through two rounds, the Spartans sit tied for 11th place out of 18 teams on the Blue Course with a combined score of 4-over 580 heading into Monday\u2019s final round.<\/p>\n

Mungali fired six birdies during his Sunday round to climb into a tie for 12th place individually with a two-day total of 3-under 141.<\/p>\n

Grant Leary<\/a> recorded five birdies on the day to shoot a 1-over 73, placing him in a tie for 34th at 1-over 145.
\nDominic Lucchesi<\/a> also posted a 1-over 73 with two birdies, joining Noah Scavo<\/a> (80) in a tie for 67th at 6-over 150.
\nRyan Pupach<\/a> rounded out the team entry with a second-round 76 (+4) to sit tied for 72nd at 7-over 151.<\/p>\n

Competing as individuals on the Silver Course, three Spartans continued to deliver strong performances. Allan was standard-setting once again, rolling in six birdies on Sunday. With just four bogeys through two rounds, he holds sole possession of first place with a blistering 10-under 134 overall score.<\/p>\n

Jackson Lutz<\/a> shot a 79 (+7) on Sunday to sit tied for 15th at 5-over 149 on the Silver Course leaderboard.
\nBrady Foster<\/a> posted an 83 (+11) on Sunday.<\/p>\n
