The City of Fullerton will release its draft Fiscal Year 2026-27 Annual Action Plan for public review and comment on September 19, 2026. The public comment period will remain open through October 19 at 5 pm.<\/p>\n
The Annual Action Plan outlines how the city proposes to use federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds to assist low- and moderate-income residents and support eligible community development activities.<\/p>\n
Fullerton anticipates receiving approximately $1,410,857 in CDBG funding and $475,838.42 in HOME funds for the 2026-27 fiscal year. The Annual Action Plan will serve as the city\u2019s formal application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).<\/p>\n
According to the public notice, proposed CDBG-funded activities include the city\u2019s Single-Family Home Rehabilitation Program, public service programs, code enforcement and capital improvement projects in eligible census tracts and block groups.<\/p>\n
The plan also includes contingency provisions that would allow for modifications to anticipated resources and proposed project activities.<\/p>\n
The city is encouraging residents, agencies, community groups and other interested parties to review the draft and submit comments.<\/p>\n
