We are ready to open in just a few short days,\u201d said Chelsey Roberts, marketing director for the Kern County Fair. \u201cWe have everyone out here, whether it is vendors coming into the buildings or the carnival setting up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Much of the work happens before the lights come on and the midway fills up. Many rides are still in their trucks as crews continue setup.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Kern County Fair KBAK\/KBFX\" class=\"ImageEmbed_image__qZBo_\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"365\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/bcf3933d-7918-45bf-93c8-20b00f834964-Image1.jpg\" width=\"648\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Kern County Fair KBAK\/KBFX<\/p>\n<p>Fair officials said the 12-day event brings together rides, food, entertainment and traditions that Kern County families look forward to each year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have the biggest event in the community, and we are ready for 12 days of it,\u201d Roberts said. \u201cIt\u2019s so cool to see everything coming together and to see all 400,000 guests who come out over the 12 days to make memories.
