While maintaining its position among public and private national universities, UC San Diego advanced in other Best Colleges rankings, including a four-spot rise \u2014 breaking into the top 20 \u2014 to No. 19 in the Most Innovative Schools ranking. In the undergraduate computer science program, the artificial intelligence specialty ranking rose 5 spots to No. 8. The undergraduate economics program is now tied for No. 12, moving up 6 spots.<\/p>\n
