Photo: Ripley&#8217;s Believe It Or Not!\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">SAN FRANCISCO &#8211; Believe it.<\/p>\n<p>   Ripley&#8217;s &#8216;closing in San Francisco\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"KTVU\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-94395e58=\"\">What we know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">Ripley&#8217;s Believe it Or Not! in San Francisco is set to close at the end of the year, according to company president Jim Pattison Jr., who issued a letter on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"KTVU\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-94395e58=\"\">What we don&#8217;t know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">Pattison did not say exactly why the company is closing at Fisherman&#8217;s Wharf, or exactly what date the doors will be permanently shuttered.<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">But he did list the history of the attraction in San Francisco, which has been around for 60 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">Built on the foundation of a daily newspaper cartoon in 1918 \u2014 still in print today \u2014 Ripley\u2019s Believe It or Not!
