(KATU) \u2014 U.S. marshals arrested a woman in California last month wanted for a November 2025 killing in Portland, the Portland Police Bureau said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. marshals found 55-year-old Mary Ann McKinzy in Bakersfield, California on Wednesday, Aug. 5, and arrested her.<\/p>\n<p>She was extradited to Oregon last Friday.<\/p>\n<p>On Nov. 28, 2025, police were called to Southeast 162nd Avenue near Taylor Street just before 3:45 a.m. <a href=\"https:\/\/katu.com\/news\/local\/police-investigate-fatal-stabbing-in-portlands-centennial-neighborhood-162nd-southeast-taylor-multnomah-county\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">and found 75-year-old James S. Miller, of Portland, dead<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The medical examiner\u2019s office later determined he died by blunt force trauma.<\/p>\n<p>McKinzy was taken to the Multnomah County jail where she faces charges of second-degree murder, first-degree assault and negligent homicide.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"PORTLAND, Ore.
