SAN JOSE \u2014 A former operations manager at Valley Christian High School pleaded guilty Tuesday to two counts each of online child enticement and recieving child pornography for convincing multiple 16- and 17-year-old boys to produce sexual material, which he then sold online, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n
Todd Baldwin, a 46-year-old resident of Bremerton, WA, also admitted to possession of child pornography, and that he enticed two other victims online in uncharged incidents, according to a news release from the Department of Justice Northern District of California. He was initially charged in November 2024.<\/p>\n
From October 2021 to August 2023, Baldwin persuaded several boys to create the child pornography over websites including Gmail and Snapchat, prosecutors said. He then paid the four 16- and 17-year-old boys to thousands of dollars over CashApp and Venmo for the creation of those photos and videos.<\/p>\n
Baldwin\u2019s victims, at least one of whom he met through his job at the high school, were students at Valley Christian High School in San Jose and Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n
Prosecutors added that Baldwin resold the child pornography, dirty underwear and clothing he recieved from the boys to online buyers.<\/p>\n
When investigators served a warrant on Baldwin\u2019s home, they uncovered child pornography on several electronic devices, prosecutors added. One such video depicted a prepubescent boy \u201cengaged in sex acts.\u201d<\/p>\n
Baldwin was arrested by the San Jose Police Department in August 2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n
