(<a data-ylk=\"slk:KRON;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;link&quot;,&quot;yLinkElementType&quot;:&quot;article_link&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kron4.com\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">KRON<\/a>) &#8212; A San Jose man was booked into jail over the weekend after he flagged down a police officer to tell them that he had killed two people, according to authorities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Marcelino Castro, 28, approached a San Jose Police Department officer at 5:14 p.m. Saturday and said he committed a homicide, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;Officers responded to the area of Lelong (Street) and Alma Avenue where they located a deceased male victim,&#8221; SJPD wrote.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Castro then provided more information about a second homicide, according to police. Detectives went to the area of Autumn Parkway and Coleman Avenue, where they located another body.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"795\" height=\"443\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"rounded-lg\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/https:\/\/media.zenfs.com\/en\/kron_articles_710\/499259acfeaff93b8fde9b1148082a71.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Castro was arrested on two counts of suspicion of murder.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Investigators do not believe the homicides occurred on the same day that Castro flagged down officers, police said at a news conference Tuesday<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Investigators are working to determine the motive and circumstances surrounding the killings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
