(KFSN) &#8212; A late-night crash in Northeast Fresno left one officer injured and now is in the hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The crash happened Tuesday night at Friant and Lakeview.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Police say they blocked off an area for a single-vehicle collision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Around 11 p.m. a minivan going north on Friant collided with the police vehicle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">&#8220;Our officer was inside the patrol vehicle when the vehicle rolled over. He&#8217;s in good spirits but injured,&#8221; said Officer Castillo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">It was reported that the minivan driver was arrested for DUI and the officer is suffered minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">Cones were not set up before the crash because of construction in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KFSN-TV.
