Getty Images<\/p>\n Zillow<\/p>\n In that study, Irvine came in at No. 10, while Roseville and Santa Clara were listed as 12th and 29th, respectively.<\/p>\n The median cost of a home in the Golden State reached $930,260<\/a> in May, a 2.3% increase from April and a 3.1% increase from the same time last year.<\/p>\n At the same time, the Bay Area recorded a 3.6% jump in the median price for a single-family home in May.
