In September 2025, Starbucks announced that it was closing 627 stores in North America and Europe. That wave included 43 locations all over the Bay Area, according to KTVU<\/a>. In his letter, Grams said the company is aiming for faster service, and \u201cwarmer, more welcoming coffeehouses.\u201d<\/p>\n
