{"id":476699,"date":"2026-09-26T19:12:07","date_gmt":"2026-09-26T19:12:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/476699\/"},"modified":"2026-09-26T19:12:07","modified_gmt":"2026-09-26T19:12:07","slug":"veterans-job-fair-coming-to-san-diego-oct-1-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/476699\/","title":{"rendered":"Veterans job fair coming to San Diego Oct. 1 | News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN DIEGO \u2014 Veterans, military spouses and current service members looking for employment opportunities can connect with more than 60 employers at the San Diego Veterans Job Fair on Oct. 1.<\/p>\n<p>According to a press release from Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and RecruitMilitary, the free event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sheraton San Diego Resort.<\/p>\n<p>Employers representing industries including construction, health care, administration and logistics will be on hand with opportunities ranging from entry-level positions to senior management.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to meeting with employers, attendees can receive career counseling and resume assistance, network with other veterans and military personnel, and receive assistance with Department of Veterans Affairs benefits and claims.<\/p>\n<p>The event is open to veterans, their spouses, active-duty military personnel and members of the National Guard and Reserve.<\/p>\n<p>DAV said it will sponsor more than 95 in-person and virtual job fairs this year.
