{"id":477665,"date":"2026-09-27T20:14:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-27T20:14:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/477665\/"},"modified":"2026-09-27T20:14:09","modified_gmt":"2026-09-27T20:14:09","slug":"you-have-hurricane-odalys-to-thank-for-that-beautiful-sunset-last-night","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/477665\/","title":{"rendered":"You have Hurricane Odalys to thank for that beautiful sunset last night"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Angelenos looking up Saturday may have noticed a particularly striking sight \u2014 a vibrant sunset framed by clouds.<\/p>\n<p>Tropical moisture coming in from far off the coast could explain it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne thing that might have played a role in making it look awfully nice yesterday was those high clouds that were moving in,\u201d Robert Munroe, meteorologist with the National Weather Service, said. \u201cThe way the sun was hitting the high clouds made some bright yellows and oranges in the sky.
