But travelers should also know about the public transit options that are available now.<\/p>\n<p>MTS route 992 serves the airport terminals and runs between the airport and downtown San Diego, with a stop near the Santa Fe Depot. From there, passengers can connect with Amtrak, the Coaster and the trolley.<\/p>\n<p>There is also the San Diego Flyer, a free shuttle between the airport and the Old Town Transit Center, where passengers can connect with trolleys, trains and buses.
