(KFSN) &#8212; Two people were injured in a shooting at a party in Merced County Saturday night, according to the Merced County Sheriff&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Deputies responded shortly before 10:30 p.m. to a house on Oak Street and Hinton Avenue after receiving reports of a shooting, this is just south of the town of Delhi.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">When deputies arrived, they found the two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Authorities say the victims are an 18-year-old man and a 21-year-old man.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. One of the victims is currently in critical condition, though authorities have not made clear if it&#8217;s the 18 or 21-year-old.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The shooting remains under active investigation. Detectives are continuing to gather information about the circumstances surrounding the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The Merced County Sheriff&#8217;s Office is asking anyone who witnessed the shooting, has information about the incident, or has video related to it to contact the sheriff&#8217;s office by phone or text.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">No additional information about a suspect or possible motive was provided.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KFSN-TV.
