A Wixom man is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly having child pornography on his cell phone.<\/p>\n

David Grosh, 27, is in the Oakland County Jail with bond set at $500,000 following his arraignment Monday on three counts each of aggravated child sexually abusive activity and use of a computer to commit a crime. According to the Oakland County Prosecutor\u2019s Office, Auburn Hills police discovered hundreds of images and videos of child sexual abuse \u2014 including some depicting prepubescent children \u2014 while executing a search warrant for his phone as part of a separate investigation.<\/p>\n

Grosh can be released from jail if he posts 10% of the bond in cash or surety.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery image uncovered represents unspeakable abuse of young children,\u201d Prosecutor Karen McDonald stated in a news release. \u201cThis defendant\u2019s alleged activity makes him complicit in that abuse. Holding him accountable helps protect the next child from becoming a victim.\u201d<\/p>\n

Grosh\u2019s next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 6 for a probable cause conference in 52-3 District Court. A preliminary exam is set for a week later.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am proud of our investigators and the hard work that they put into this case,\u201d added\u00a0 Auburn Hills Police Chief Ryan Gagnon. \u201cWhat otherwise was a simple embezzlement investigation, turned into uncovering disturbing images and content that the suspect possessed.\u00a0 I would also like to thank the Oakland County Sheriff\u2019s Office and Wixom Police Department for their assistance in this investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aggravated child sexually abusive activity is punishable by up to 25 years in prison and\/or a fine of up to $125,000. Use of a computer to commit a crime is punishable by up to 20 years in prison and\/or a fine of up to $20,000.<\/p>\n
