Hot Ones<\/a>, during her press tour for Colleen Hoover\u2019s screen adaptation of \u201cVerity.\u201d<\/p>\nHathaway revealed in an episode of the \u201cTalk of the Townsends\u201d podcast Monday that she was advised against going on the YouTube interview series, in which celebrities are asked questions as they eat increasingly hot and spicy chicken wings.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe did the first three wings for real, and then I switched to dummy wings. And then I thought that I was gonna be able to do the \u2018Hot Ones\u2019 challenge to do press for this film because it just made sense,\u201d Hathaway shared. \u201cBut then I got pregnant, and my doctor said I couldn\u2019t do it because I might go into early labor.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hathaway made the comments while on a press junket for the film, her fifth this year. The Academy Award-winning actor has starred in some of this year\u2019s biggest hits, including \u201cThe Devil Wears Prada 2\u201d and \u201cThe Odyssey.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHot Ones,\u201d created by Sean Evans, has been on YouTube since 2015 and has hosted Hollywood stars, including Jennifer Lawrence, Lorde and Keke Palmer. The series has been spoofed on \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d twice.<\/p>\n
\u201cI still haven\u2019t done the gauntlet yet,\u201d Hathaway said. \u201cI\u2019m not sure when that\u2019s gonna happen. Maybe next year.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hathaway is married to actor, producer and jewelry designer Adam Shulman. They have two young sons.<\/p>\n
