Man accused in deadly Sacramento trampoline park shooting appears in court<\/p>\n

\"Andres<\/a>SACRAMENTO, Calif. \u2014<\/p>\n

A 36-year-old man accused of killing a mother and critically injuring another woman outside a Sacramento trampoline park appeared before a judge for the first time Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Edward Tucker appeared in court wearing an orange jail jumpsuit. The hearing lasted less than three minutes.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors have charged Tucker with four felony counts, including murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.<\/p>\n

The charges stem from a shooting Saturday afternoon at the Urban Air trampoline park off Arden Way in Sacramento\u2019s Arden Arcade area. Samantha Cromwell, 29, died at the scene.<\/p>\n

Cromwell\u2019s family said she was at the park to celebrate her son\u2019s eighth birthday.<\/p>\n

A second woman, identified by her family as Faith, was taken to a hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n

Loved ones of both victims attended Tucker\u2019s court appearance and spoke afterward about their determination to follow the case.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe didn\u2019t break us,\u201d said Tamica Atterberry, Faith\u2019s mother. \u201cWe\u2019re strong. We\u2019re together. We\u2019ve got this. We\u2019re going to be here every court date. Every single time you\u2019re here, we will be here, too.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pamela Ward, Cromwell’s grandmother, said the family continues to experience \u201ca lot of pain.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want justice, and I do believe we will get it,\u201d Ward said. She also thanked the Sacramento County District Attorney\u2019s Office, victim advocates and others who attended the hearing to support the case.<\/p>\n

Tucker\u2019s next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 13. He remains in custody without bail. <\/p>\n
