He skated in one game in 2025-26, scoring one goal with 11:37 of ice time. In 70 games last season with the AHL\u2019s San Diego Gulls, he scored 10 goals with 41 points. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He was sent to the AHL on Tuesday before being recalled a day later. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cSigning Tristan to a long-term contract was a priority as we see him as a top-four defenseman for years to come,\u201d said Ducks general manager Pat Verbeek. \u201cGetting the deal done before the season started was a key part of our planning for now and the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A first-round pick (21st overall) by Anaheim in 2022, Luneau made his NHL debut on Oct. 19, 2023 against the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/dallas-stars\/25\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/dallas-stars\/25\" target=\"_blank\">Dallas Stars<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He is in the final year of his entry-level contract. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Anaheim Ducks have signed defenceman Tristan Luneau to a six-year contract on Thursday.
