Steven Ueltzen received 29.49%<\/p>\n<p>Paulson is a former deputy district attorney in Fresno County, where she spent a decade prosecuting violent criminals.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, she was honored with the Courageous Prosecutor of the Year Award for her work on the Violent Crime Unit.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, Paulson joined the Fresno City Attorney\u2019s Office, where she is a chief assistant city attorney and the chief prosecuting attorney.<\/p>\n<p>Her endorsements include Mayor Jerry Dyer, the Fresno Police Officers Association, the Fresno Deputy Sheriffs Association and the Valley Young Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>                                          <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"responsive-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/ashley_paulso_fitted.jpeg\"   width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" title=\"ashley_paulso_fitted.jpeg\" alt=\"Ashley Paulson\"\/>                                                                                    Ashley Paulson                                                                                    <\/p>\n<p>Ueltzen is  a senior deputy district attorney in Fresno County.
