Fresno Fright Nights is a new immersive haunted attraction featuring multiple themed areas, special effects and live scares.<\/p>\n
This is the events second year and they have made things bigger, better, and scarier.<\/p>\n
FOX26 was invited to a VIP preview experience on Thursday to see all that the upcoming event has to offer.<\/p>\n
Visitors will get to experience multiple themed scares including a quarter-mile journey through an abandoned chemical plant, and a haunted cemetery filled with eerie sights and sounds.<\/p>\n
The experience will also lead guests to the lair of the legendary Fresno Nightcrawler, the pale, long-legged cryptid made famous by mysterious footage reportedly captured in Fresno.<\/p>\n
[RELATED] Renaissance of Kings Faire returns to Hanford as California\u2019s longest-running event<\/a><\/p>\n Another portion takes visitors aboard a river barge through the Blood River Bayou Swamp, where more scary surprises await.<\/p>\n Organizers say the attraction combines immersive storytelling with Hollywood-style effects in hopes of making Fresno a Halloween destination.<\/p>\n There will even be live performances.<\/p>\n Official opening dates will be announced soon, and more information can be found on their website HERE.<\/a><\/p>\n Their opening night was scheduled for Friday, October 2nd, but has since been postponed. <\/p>\n Updates on the new opening day can be found on their Instagram page HERE.<\/a><\/p>\n
