ADRIAN, Mich. \u2013 The Adrian College women’s rugby team picked up a pair of victories over Oakland University on Sunday at the Adrian College Rugby Pitch, winning 27-5 and 27-10.<\/p>\n
In the opening match, Laneigh Shinners<\/a> led the Adrian attack with three tries, while Jorja Pennington<\/a> added a try and a conversion. The Bulldogs totaled five tries in the match on their way to the 27-5 victory.<\/p>\n Adrian continued its strong offensive showing in the second match, recording five more tries. Pennington, Audrey Larzelere<\/a>, Shinners and Denae Covey<\/a> each found the try zone, while Pennington added a conversion to help secure the 27-10 win.<\/p>\n Up Next<\/p>\n The Bulldogs return to action on Friday, October 16 when they travel to Rochester, Michigan to take on Oakland University.
