SANTA CLARA, Calif. — San Francisco 49ers<\/a> Pro Bowl fullback Kyle Juszczyk<\/a> suffered a knee sprain and bone bruise that is expected to sideline him for two to three weeks, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.<\/p>\n

Juszczyk sustained the injury during San Francisco’s 24-14 victory over the Denver Broncos<\/a> on Sunday. An MRI performed Monday confirmed the nature of his injury.<\/p>\n

With 14:03 to go, Niners quarterback Brock Purdy<\/a> scrambled to his left and found Juszczyk open down the sideline for a 16-yard gain. Broncos defensive back Jahdae Barron<\/a> delivered a big hit to Juszczyk’s knee and midsection, and Juszczyk stayed down for a few minutes as the Niners medical team rushed to help.<\/p>\n

Niners personnel helped Juszczyk to the sideline, where he entered the medical tent and stayed for a bit before watching the rest of the game on the bench. The 49ers quickly ruled out a potential return for Juszczyk, who finished with two catches for 28 yards.<\/p>\n

Juszczyk, who has been selected to the past 10 Pro Bowls, has four receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown this season.<\/p>\n

Safety Marques Sigle<\/a> (ankle) and slot cornerback Upton Stout<\/a> (shoulder) also suffered injures Sunday that did not allow them to finish the game.<\/p>\n

Sigle suffered a pair of injuries Sunday, initially departing early in the third quarter with a stinger. He returned on Denver’s next possession but was injured with 2:15 left when he hurt his ankle near Denver’s sideline. He did not return after making six tackles on the day.<\/p>\n

Stout hurt his shoulder in the third quarter and jogged to the locker room to be evaluated soon after Juszczyk’s injury early in the fourth. Stout returned with 2:07 to go but then left again and did not play during the Broncos’ final few snaps. He also finished with six tackles.br\/]<\/p>\n
