A man is dead following a shooting in Fresno’s Tower District early Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — A suspect is in custody in connection to a deadly shooting in Fresno’s Tower District in September.<\/p>\n

Authorities took 19-year-old Jeremiah Listman into custody Monday morning.<\/p>\n

The shooting happened on September 26 around 2:45 am at the corner of Olive and Linden Avenue.<\/p>\n

Police Chief Mindy Casto said Listman and a group of people approached 28-year-old Tyrone Miles.<\/p>\n

An argument broke out, and Miles was shot once. He was declared dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

A search warrant was executed in the area of Fruit and Olive on Monday in connection to the shooting. The SWAT team had to use a flash bang grenade and break the door to get inside, when Jeremiah was ultimately taken into custody.<\/p>\n

Authorities say Listman has a criminal history, including being a suspect in a stabbing near Art Hop in April. He was out on bond in that case.<\/p>\n

Listman is now in custody in the Fresno County Jail on a murder charge for September’s incident.<\/p>\n
