(KFSN) \u2014 A suspect is in custody in connection to a deadly shooting in Fresno\u2019s Tower District in September.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Authorities took 19-year-old Jeremiah Listman into custody Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The shooting happened on September 26 around 2:45 am at the corner of Olive and Linden Avenue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Police Chief Mindy Casto said Listman and a group of people approached 28-year-old Tyrone Miles.<\/p>\n<p>An argument broke out, and Miles was shot once. He was declared dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">A search warrant was executed in the area of Fruit and Olive on Monday in connection to the shooting. The SWAT team had to use a flash bang grenade and break the door to get inside, when Jeremiah was ultimately taken into custody.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Authorities say Listman has a criminal history, including being a suspect in a stabbing near Art Hop in April. He was out on bond in that case.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">Listman is now in custody in the Fresno County Jail on a murder charge for September\u2019s incident.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KFSN-TV.
