{"id":486488,"date":"2026-10-06T04:14:09","date_gmt":"2026-10-06T04:14:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/486488\/"},"modified":"2026-10-06T04:14:09","modified_gmt":"2026-10-06T04:14:09","slug":"sacramento-escape-room-named-best-in-the-united-states","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/486488\/","title":{"rendered":"Sacramento escape room named best in the United States"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Sacramento escape room has been named the top in the nation by USA Today.<\/p>\n<p>Enchambered, at 2230 Arden Way, Suite C, in Arden-Arcade near Arden Fair Mall and Cal Expo, was ranked No. 1 on the list of the <a href=\"https:\/\/10best.usatoday.com\/awards\/best-escape-room\/\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">10 best escape rooms<\/a> in the United States, USA Today said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhether you\u2019re looking for a fun outing with friends or doing some team building, escape rooms are a great way to test your skills and have a blast at the same time,\u201d the publication said.<\/p>\n<p>A panel of editors and readers picked the list, which also includes three other California escape rooms.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what to know:<\/p>\n<p>Sacramento escape room tops list<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enchambered.com\/\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Enchambered<\/a> has five escape rooms \u201cwhere teams of 3\u201312 people are locked into a custom-built, challenging and entertaining environments to solve the many mysteries, puzzles and challenges,\u201d the business said.<\/p>\n<p>The rooms are \u201cfun for all ages\u201d but children under 9 might find them confusing. No one under 16 is admitted without an adult.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the rooms cater to suspense and horror fans, while others are more light-hearted. Private bookings for the escape rooms average $40 per person.<\/p>\n<p>Enchambered is currently offering:<\/p>\n<p>The Collection, a 60-minute game for 4\u20138 players.Containment Breach, a \u201cdark, fast-paced adventure\u201d for 3\u20138 players for 60 minutes.The Whispering Halls 2, billed as a \u201csupernatural mystery\u201d for up to 10 players for 60 minutes.The Legend of the Skull Witch, a \u201cdark\u201d game for 3\u20138 players for 60 minutes.Trouble in the Toy Shop, billed as a \u201cplayful, family-friendly\u201d room for 2\u20134 players for 60 minutes.
