It houses a curated selection of the brand\u2019s climbing apparel and equipment alongside third-party climbing products.<\/p>\n<p>The space features a grasshopper climbing wall that can be activated for events, while a beta lounge provides a space for guests to connect before or after climbing, compete with climbing guidebooks and current issues of Alpinist and Summit Journal. An outdoor patio provides additional space for guests to gather and recharge and can be configured for workshops, small gatherings and screenings.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-md-8 offset-md-1 article-content--texte\">Arc\u2019teryx has also incorporated elements of its climbing heritage throughout the space, including large-scale athlete imagery and displays featuring photographs, artefacts, books and stories related to notable ascents. A rotating \u201cArc Presents\u201d projection series will bring climbing films and other content into the store.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt Arc\u2019teryx climbing is part of our DNA and community has always been core to how we think about retail. The shared connection we have to climb with the Los Angeles community was the catalyst for the creation of this new store concept\u201d said Delaney Schweitzer, GM Arc\u2019teryx, North America.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith Abbot Kinney, we\u2019re creating a new expression of that climbing heritage for Los Angeles \u2014 preserving the character of an existing building while designing a flexible space that can move between retail, climbing and community programming.
