(Bob Kinoshita\/ The Guardsman)<\/p>\n<p>City College of San Francisco Chancellor Kimberlee Messina has been placed on paid administrative leave while an independent investigator hired by the Board of Trustees looks into unspecified &#8220;matters that have been brought to the Board&#8217;s attention,&#8221; the board announced in a statement to the college community just before noon on Oct. 6.<\/p>\n<p>The board said the leave is not disciplinary and &#8220;does not reflect any finding or conclusion.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>David Yee is serving as temporary acting chancellor.<\/p>\n<p>Trustees will hold a special meeting on Oct. 8 to consider appointing an acting chancellor to lead the college on an interim basis.
