A representative for Marcos Osorio provided a video to The Fresno Bee taken by Allyson Osorio as she confronted him. The man in the video bears a resemblance to Frazier.

Fresno Police Lt. Brian Pierce confirmed to The Bee that the department is in receipt of the incident report, filed electronically.

Frazier did not return messages from The Bee on Tuesday seeking comment.

Marcos Osorio told The Bee that he was not home at the time of the alleged incident. He called Frazier’s alleged actions “disqualifying.”

“I think it could be at the very least seen as political intimidation, but at the very worst, some sort of illegal offense,” he said.

“My kiddos are obviously very weirded out. They’re asking all these questions. My sister, after having some time after the interaction, is scared and emotional,” Osorio said.

“As a father, I’m furious. As a candidate, I feel it’s completely inappropriate. I feel that with the environment that we’re in politically in this country and in our town, there should be no space for that kind of activity,” he said.

Frazier and Osorio are running for the community college board seat currently represented by Rob Fuentes, who is running for a Fresno City Council seat.

A third candidate, Miguel Castaneda Sanchez, is also on the ballot. He is listed as sales associate and student. He filed a statement, saying he would raise and spend less than $2,000.

Allyson Osorio said that after driving up to her brother’s house she confronted the man to find out what he wanted. “I asked Terrance [sic] approximately three times who he was and what he was doing there,” she wrote in the police report.

She told The Bee in an interview that she recognized the man as Frazier, her brother’s political opponent. “That is why I reacted in the way I did. I asked him to tell me the truth.”

She said in the police report that Frazier gave her a fake name and a phone number and that he told her that “he was only looking because he buys houses, and it looked ‘vacant,’” according to the police report.

Frazier kept asking if she was the homeowner, according to the report. She said in the police report that Frazier ultimately told her he was looking for “Andrew Vanhorn,” a name she later realized was on some mail that had been misdelivered to the mailbox, she said in the police report.

“This felt like intimidation and an [sic] breach of privacy for Terrence [sic] to do this, especially understanding that he was going through the mail, looking through windows, running off when a car pulled into the driveway, and providing a fake name, reason for being there, and number when confronted. During my exchange with him I asked “are you a neighbor?” He said “sometimes.” He also said that it’s “the first time he saw a car here,” implying it was not his first time looking at the home,” she wrote in the report

A screenshot from a video, provided to The Bee, purportedly of a confrontation between the sister of SCCCD trustee candidate and a man who bears a resemblance to the other person in the race, Terance Frazier.
