{"id":488038,"date":"2026-10-07T12:48:08","date_gmt":"2026-10-07T12:48:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/488038\/"},"modified":"2026-10-07T12:48:08","modified_gmt":"2026-10-07T12:48:08","slug":"delta-plane-clips-tail-of-air-canada-flight-in-los-angeles-faa-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/488038\/","title":{"rendered":"Delta plane clips tail of Air Canada flight in Los Angeles, FAA says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">ATLANTA, Ga. &#8211; The Federal Aviation Administration says it is investigating after a Delta plane clipped the tail of an Air Canada flight Tuesday morning at Los Angeles International Airport. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The FAA said a wing of Delta Air Lines Flight 7, an Airbus A350-900 bound for Tokyo, clipped the tail of Air Canada Flight 785 as the Delta flight was preparing to take off. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Flight 785, a Boeing 777-200LR, had just arrived from Toronto and was taxiing to its gate. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">No injuries were reported. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Delta Air Lines said in a statement, \u201cWhile taxiing at Los Angeles International Airport, a Delta aircraft made contact with an Air Canada aircraft.
