The ALDS continues tomorrow, ostensibly, if it didn’t end last night. (Again, I write these in the past, so you have more information at the moment than I do.) And the NLCS doesn’t start until Sunday, with the ALCS starting on Monday.

So it’s as good a time as any to discuss how we’re feeling about the playoffs so far. Personally, there is not enough chaos. I want full series, dang it. And so far we’ve had four sweeps and two 3-1 series wins. That’s boring (I say, as a fan of a team who is not in the playoffs at all and who therefore doesn’t have to bear the stress personally).

Where’s the drama? Where’s the chaos and horrible stomachache of a double elimination game?

Hopefully those things are coming in the division championship series. And hopefully the Milwaukee Brewers are able to take out the Los Angeles Dodgers. I mean, realistically, if I can just get the latter, I will forgive the former.

How are you feeling about the playoffs so far?

Good morning, baseball fans!
