In a 15-year career, Hochuli has helped bring more than one newsroom into the modern age, including a decade at the San Diego Union-Tribune and a previous stint at The Times with \u201cLA Times Today.\u201d Her work has been recognized with a number of acknowledgments from the Society of Professional Journalists, a handful of San Diego Press Club accolades, and four Emmy Awards. <\/p>\n<p>         <a class=\"link\" aria-label=\"Myung J. Chun\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/people\/myung-chun\" data-click=\"authorBioImage\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1791679930_861_.jpeg\" loading=\"lazy\"  width=\"130\" height=\"130\"\/> <\/a>           <\/p>\n<p class=\"author-bio-text\">Myung J. Chun has been a photographer with the Los Angeles Times since 1999. He started as a still photographer and then moved to videography from 2007 to 2018. Chun won an Emmy in 2011 for his work on a multimedia project about innocent victims of gang violence.
