SEATTLE — The already banged-up San Francisco 49ers<\/a> receiver corps lost another key contributor Sunday whenDeebo Samuel<\/a>suffered a third-quarter hamstring injury and was almost immediately ruled out for the rest of the game.<\/p>\n

Samuel, who was favoring his right hamstring earlier in the game, left with 5:06 left in the third quarter. On the play, Samuel carried off the left side with Seahawks linebacker Drake Thomas<\/a> bringing him down.<\/p>\n

As Samuel went to the ground, he lost the ball and attempted to recover it. But Samuel was unable to reel it back in and then stayed down because of the injury.<\/p>\n

49ers medical personnel ran on to the field to help Samuel, who stayed down for a couple of minutes before he slowly made his way to San Francisco’s sideline.<\/p>\n

Soon after, San Francisco ruled out a potential return. Samuel finished his day with two catches for 21 yards and a pair of carries for 4 yards.<\/p>\n

In addition to Samuel’s departure, 49ers receiver Jacob Cowing<\/a> suffered an ankle injury a few plays later on a kick return. Cowing is questionable to return but without him and Samuel, the only healthy Niners receivers available for the rest of the game are Mike Evans<\/a>, Jordan Watkins<\/a> and Brandin Cooks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

San Francisco entered Sunday without three of their top four wideouts, as Ricky Pearsall<\/a> (knee), De’Zhaun Stribling<\/a> (ankle) and Demarcus Robinson<\/a> (ankle) are on injured reserve.<\/p>\n
