The San Jose Sharks will look to extend their winning streak to four against the Minnesota Wild and will get help doing so.<\/p>\n
William Eklund will return to the Sharks lineup and play his first game since Nov. 1 against the Colorado Avalanche. <\/p>\n
Eklund had been playing some of the best hockey of his career before sitting out for a lower-body injury<\/a>. Through 12 games, Eklund has 11 points (5 goals, 6 assists), <\/p>\n Per SJHN, Eklund will slot<\/a> back in the San Jose Sharks\u2019 second line with Alexander Wennberg and Philipp Kurashev. That line began to dominate opposing teams\u2019 top lines while still putting up terrific offensive numbers.<\/p>\n Advertisement. He can deepen us, so hopefully we\u2019ll have him back for the road trip.\u201d<\/p>\n Ethan Cardwell could be sent down to the San Jose Barracuda as a corresponding move. He is not listed in the projected lineup, and a spot needs to be opened for Eklund to be activated off IR.<\/p>\n Timothy Liljegren will also be a healthy scratch for the Sharks on Tuesday.
