San Francisco’s skyline<\/a> is one of the city’s most defining features, but it could look completely different<\/a> in the years ahead. This year, the city approved Mayor Daniel Lurie’s “Family Zoning” plan<\/a>, which allows taller buildings<\/a> in places well-served by jobs, transit, retail and other amenities.<\/p>\n

To help illustrate what that could look like, the Chronicle created a 3D model<\/a> comparing the city as it looks today with the new maximum building heights allowed under the plan. Tell us what you think about the changes.<\/p>\n
