(KGO) &#8212; San Jose Fire Department responded to the scene of a plane crash that injured three people in the area of Capitol Expressway and Excalibur Drive Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The crash was reported just after 3 p.m. when a small propeller plane crashed on the roadway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Two adults and one child were onboard the plane and were transferred to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the fire department.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">SJFD said no vehicles were involved in the crash. However, the crash caused a minor fuel spill that SJFD said was absorbed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The plane is a 1968 Cessna 177A Cardinal and is registered to Flying Twenty Inc., a nonprofit flight club for San Jose State University students, alumni and faculty, Federal Aviation Administration records show.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Stay with ABC7 News for the latest details on this developing story.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KGO-TV.
