Chargers<\/a> offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel<\/a> didn\u2019t shy away from discussing his job security Thursday amid a frustrating 0-5 start to the season.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like it\u2019s core to my job to always feel that way,\u201d McDaniel said when asked if he\u2019s coaching for his job. \u201cI need to do the very best I possibly can, all the time, because [of] the players, the organization, the fans.<\/p>\n \u201cSo, that\u2019s second nature. \u2026 I think it\u2019s disrespectful to all those that choose to invest in our game and our team to not look at things that way. The second you get comfortable in this league, it\u2019s a wrap; it\u2019s too good. I will be doing my very best, because from an integrity standpoint, I think it\u2019s really insulting to do anything else.
