Few celebrations showcase that cultural legacy quite like D\u00eda de los Muertos,<\/a> when marigolds, candles, music and colorful ofrendas fill SoCal with a sense of remembrance and joy.\u00a0<\/p>\n Now, one of DTLA\u2019s<\/a> most anticipated annual tributes is about to begin, inviting locals and visitors alike to celebrate life and honor our loved ones.<\/p>\n Gloria Molina Grand Park\u2019s D\u00eda de los Muertos celebration 2026<\/p>\n Running from October 24 through November 2, 2026, Gloria Molina Grand Park\u2019s Downtown D\u00eda de los Muertos<\/a> will transform the civic park into an open-air exhibition<\/a> featuring more than 16 community ofrendas created by artists and local organizations. The installations honor departed loved ones, preserve cultural heritage and tell stories reflecting the many communities that make Los Angeles unique.<\/p>\n The exhibition is free and open to all ages, with daily viewing hours from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Here\u2019s what to add to your calendar:<\/p>\n \ud83c\udf3c Saturday, October 24, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Opening celebration with live performances by El R\u00edo, Grupo Bella, Ana\u00eds Azul and Mariachi Arco\u2022Iris de Los Angeles. A ceremonial procession and blessings will honor Indigenous roots, while families can enjoy face painting, sugar skull decorating workshops, and other creative activities.<\/p>\n \ud83d\udd6f\ufe0f Sunday, November 1, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Noche de los Muertos, a closing celebration that brings music and hands-on art activities. The lineup includes The Negrete Family, DJ Butchona, Lxs Cochinxs and Mosa! As evening approaches, candlelight and illuminated offerings will create a memorable setting for honoring loved ones.<\/p>\n \ud83c\udfa8 October 24 through November 2, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.: Explore the ofrendas as you wander among 17 artistic tributes throughout the park, discover the stories behind each installation, and take time to reflect.
