{"id":502245,"date":"2026-10-20T13:38:09","date_gmt":"2026-10-20T13:38:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/502245\/"},"modified":"2026-10-20T13:38:09","modified_gmt":"2026-10-20T13:38:09","slug":"dashcam-video-captures-small-plane-crashing-on-san-jose-highway-injuring-three-on-board-including-child","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/502245\/","title":{"rendered":"Dashcam video captures small plane crashing on San Jose highway, injuring three on board, including child"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dash camera footage captured the dramatic moment a Cessna 177 crashed into the Capitol Expressway in San Jose, <a href=\"https:\/\/foxnews.com\/category\/us\/us-regions\/west\/california\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">California,<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Video shows the single-engine plane careening into an overpass arching atop the expressway.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/foxnews.com\/category\/disasters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">crash injured three<\/a>, including a child, who were aboard the plane, the San Jose Fire Department (SJFD) announced in a post on X.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/foxnews.com\/travel\/deadly-crash-kills-two-plane-plunge-ball-flames-near-suburban-golf-course\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">DEADLY CRASH KILLS TWO AS PLANE PLUNGES INTO \u2018BALL OF FLAMES\u2019 NEAR SUBURBAN GOLF COURSE<\/a><\/p>\n<p>None of the injuries were life-threatening, SJFD wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSJFD is on scene of a plane crash in the area of Capitol Expressway and Excalibur Dr.,\u201d the department wrote in the Saturday post on X.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSmall prop plane down, no vehicles involved. Two adults and one child transported with non-life-threatening injuries out of an abundance of caution.
