Halloween season is one of the most exciting times of the year in the Sacramento region. From haunted houses and ghost tours to pumpkin patches, harvest festivals, train rides and family-friendly trick-or-treat events, there are activities for every age and scare level. Whether you’re looking for an adrenaline-filled night at one of Northern California’s premier haunted attractions or a fun afternoon of pumpkins, hayrides and costumes with the kids, Sacramento and its surrounding communities deliver plenty of seasonal options throughout October. Sacramento Scream Park and Heartstoppers Haunts remain the area’s largest haunted attractions, while family favorites such as Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm, Fairytale Town’s Safe & Super Halloween, and the Elk Grove Giant Pumpkin Festival continue to draw thousands of local families each year.<\/p>\n
