(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 60 to 80 people protesting near the Padre Hotel Tuesday night against ICE dispersed about 15 minutes after officers declared an unlawful assembly. No arrests were made.<\/p>\n<p>The Bakersfield Police Department said on October 20, 2026, at around 10:30 p.m., officers were called to the 1700 block of 18th Street, at the Padre Hotel, for multiple calls regarding people across the street making excessively loud noise.<\/p>\n<p>When officers arrived, they saw about 60 to 80 people east of the Padre Hotel, with protestors banging pots, honking vehicle horns, yelling, and playing a variety of musical instruments.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"60 to 80 people protesting near the Padre Hotel Tuesday night against ICE dispersed about 15 minutes after officers declared an unlawful assembly.
